Second Doctor Dies of Covid-19 in Cameroon
Dr. Kwedi Mangan Felix, a Rheumatologist working at the Douala General Hospital Cameroon, is no more. He succumbed to covid-19 today, April 15, 2020. He possibly contracted the virus from patients he was exposed to. This is unfortunate news, especially for the medical community in Cameroon, which has just lost 2 doctors in less than 2 weeks. The first Medical Doctor passed away on April 3, 2020.
As of April 15, 2020, Cameroon has now recorded 18 coronavirus-related deaths. Cameroon's Minister of Public Health has continued to call for proper hygienic methods and social distancing measures. Mandatory wear of masks in public places has been instituted.
